| My
husband and I met Helen Lock when she was setting up Aged
Companion Care Service and we were so impressed with what
she was trying to achieve that we decided to become sponsors
of some of her clients.
Helen saw a need in the
community to work with lonely and isolated elderly people.
Her ability to identify their specific needs, attention to
detail and loving care has transformed the lives of her many
clients and surpassed the boundaries often seen in Government
provided services.
We will continue to support
her excellent work, as we believe it gets to the very core
of alleviating a hidden need in our elderly population and
Aged Companion Care Service is making a difference.

Not
living locally, our family were at a loss as to how we might
arrange regular visits and support for our recently widowed
mother. We were delighted to discover the companion service
offered by Helen Lock.
Helen’s services have
been invaluable, providing a level of companionship and one-on-one
conversation that could only be delivered by someone who takes
a genuine and personal interest in the welfare and happiness
of their clients.
Any reservations we might
have held, quickly disappeared as Helen immediately established
a rapport with Mum, quickly becoming a new ‘friend’.
Helen has become an essential part of our extended family
and her visits bridge the gap between our own visits and ‘phone
calls.
Monthly reports and photos
reassure both us and our brother who lives overseas that Mum
is well and continuing to enjoying life. When we speak about
Helen to friends, their immediate reactions is ‘how
did you ever find anyone as wonderful as that’. We were
very lucky –what a ‘find’!
